Hey kdawg, welcome to the site! As for being able to fit in a VZ interior into a VL, it's definitely something that can be done, but price will vary wildly depending on whether or not you're able to do the required modifications yourself or if you have to pay a workshop that specialises in it to fit the interior for you. The main concern I would say would be fitting the dash and instrument cluster (assuming you want to do the full interior), that will require a bit of cutting and chopping, and I'm not sure if the centre console will fit either. What you should do to get started is get measurements of the VZ interior and whip up a quick drawn diagram, and then do the same for your VL. That way you'll be able to see roughly what will need cutting, or what won't be able to fit at all, etc. before you spend any money on anything. Good luck with it !

If you have a big budget then go for it but getting all the wiring done will be the main hassle since you will need the vz ecu and interior loom and everything else to get the cluster working properly. Seats will fit easy but the door trims are impossible. |

Just a note on top of what M3ZZA said-- if you're really keen on getting door trims in, you can always do something up custom using parts of the VZ door trim. Make up a base panel yourself and cut out the arm rests and whatever other sections you want to transplant across and secure them to the base panel. From there, you can get someone to trim it in leather or what ever other material you please, and it will appear to be similar style to the VZ interior, but it will be completely custom. |

Rear Seat Needs to be cut down i think it was 25-50mm i was told Cut down the middle. Front Rails will need to be changed to the vl rails so it goes straight in without modifying the rails on the car. in nsw VZ seats and newer have to be engineered or they are illegal. |
