fuel pump failure |

ok so i was having a fiddle with my vl calais (1986 model) yesterday when the motor cut out i no its the fuel pump but im not sure which one i understand that there are 2 1 internel and 1 external how can i check which one it is so i dont have to replace both? PLEASE HELP! ill love yu long time  .

take both hoses off the external pump, and if there is no fuel coming from the tank 2 the external pump then it will be the internal, but if there is plug it back and see if there is any fuel getin pumped out by the external. thats a way of checking it. and if it is 1 of them, smack it with a solid object and it mite work again. . . |
