Hey, just wondering if it is possible and if so what steps do i have to take in converting a VL Turbo Engine (RB30ET) into an non turbo? Thanks

I'd say it's definitely possible, though you'd have to wait for someone who has a greater technical knowledge than myself to answer it for you. PS. Why would you want to go from Turbo to non-turbo  ?

My intentions are, if possible, to create an engine with an RB25DET head and RB30ET bottom in running condition without turbo for a P-Plate legal car and adding turbo + accessories later. Just doing the homework before making any moves. |

Ahh makes sense then! The current P Plate laws are pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Quite unfortunate that you're stuck with them... |

Quick question, are there any parts in the RB30ET engine or the RB25DET head that cannot function properly without a turbo or without external turbo parts? No problem if you cant answer

the engine may Ping and suck alot of fuel you will need to replace computers and a few other parts not sure. a8 turbo engines are rare and are worth abit so if i were you buy a stock vl engine for like $250 and keep the turbo engine for when your off these gay p plate laws |

youd be better off using a low km stock engine with a 25 head. the only difference between vlt motor is diferent intake and lower comp ratio |

you can't have a 25 head on a 30 block on your p's anyway its still a modified engine and you cant run any mods on your p's |
